There are many famous artists in history who had Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), most notably Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Alexej von Jawlensky. Both represent a great example of successfully coping with RA in former times when treatment was extremely limited. In addition, these artists took advantage of creative disease management.
